A Web Browser You Share With Your AI Agents

A web browser for you and your agents.

Give AI agents a real Chromium browser in your CoCalc project. Watch it live, take over for sign-ins and CAPTCHAs, test your own web app, and keep downloads in the project.

Agents browse the web in a real Chromium that belongs to your project. Watch them work, take over to sign in or solve a CAPTCHA, then hand it back.

  • Agents browse in a real Chromium
  • Watch live, take over, hand back
  • Sign in once; sign-ins stay encrypted
  • Downloads land in ~/Downloads

Watch the agent, and step in when it needs you

An agent's browser appears live in its chat, and a .browser file is a browser of your own that you open like any document. Click Take over to sign in, enter a two-factor code, or solve a CAPTCHA; the agent waits until you hand it back, and can ask you to take over.

Browsing the web needs a project with internet access; without it, the browser opens only the servers running in the project.

Test the web app you are building

Start a development server in the project and ask an agent to click through it, fill in forms, and report what breaks. A new tab's start page lists the servers running in the project; the browser reaches them once it is on the project's network.

Works with the tools agents already use

Agents drive it with the CoCalc CLI (open, click, type, read, screenshot), or connect Playwright, Puppeteer, or chrome-devtools-mcp to its DevTools endpoint. Files it downloads land in the project's ~/Downloads.

Isolated, and light on resources

Each browser runs in a container of its own with Chromium's sandbox, and sees none of the project's files. Its sign-ins are encrypted with a project secret and kept outside the project's files and backups. It renders only as often as someone needs, so a browser nobody is watching costs almost nothing.
